BACK TO ARGENTINA
The HADD 2002 Annual
International Congress saw our return to Argentina in February
2002, organized through Mountain Madness of Seattle,
Washington.
Dr. Hoff enjoyed his return, after a
six-year hiatus, to see the experimental, ecologically sound toilet facility
designed by the environmental resource group at the University of Argentina at
Mendoza. Unfortunately, the facility has deteriorated physically (due to
the heavy snow, ice, and wind loads during their winters), but still functions
with the same principles as seen during our visit in 1996.
